Indian Temples

Singapore is a culturally diversed country and you can find attractions of different ethnic backgrounds while you visit. The Indian temples are amazing.. unfortunately I only took pictures from the outside.. should have taken pictures of the "God of Violent Death"!

Tian Tian Chicken Rice

Even the famous "lonely planet" travel guide mentioned this famous chicken rice in Singapore! The meat is fresh and tender.. the aroma of the rice is irresistable :) Remember to get there early and queue.. (my friend queued for 30 minutes to order..) this food stall closes once the chicken are sold out.

Also don't forget to try other stalls in "Maxwell Food Centre". This place is loved by food gurus.. you can enjoy great food without being harrassed by the "food pimps" (originated from Newton food square) -_-

Mini Rach in Singapore

Rach is everywhere! We can see her on the stage at Les Mills World of Fitness.. she's also featured in the ads in the news paper... we can also find her on the billboards in Auckland... and I encountered a mini Rach in Singapore! It's really good to see a familiar face in another country. :)

Trip to Singapore - June / July 2007

Just came back from a trip to Singapore, the weather is hot over there (about 35 C) which is a big contrast with the winter in NZ... In the next few days I'll be uploading some pictures that I took during this trip. I'll start with the view from the balcony of the hotel. Swissotel Stamford in Singapore was once the highest hotel in the world. The view is stunning but I was disappointed with the facility and the standard of service...
