Les Mills BodyCombat 43 Filming

Ying and Yang, bad and good, pirates and samurai and boys and girls.... it's time for another new BC release! BC43 emphasises the contrast between the properties and the moves, and you'll find these in the tracks - such as combinations of power and speed moves (lots to be seen in T3 and T8), katas and explosive combos (i.e T2 and T6), snapping / grapping moves as well as travelling sequences (T4 & T7). You'll be needing more oxygen after a BC43 class!

Dan, Rach, Hernan, Oscar, Judy and Marcus were in the spot light this time and they did an amazing job. Good to have Oscar the combat machine back in Auckland, and the lovely Judy showed us how a true fighter could be found in a beautiful girl like her! Hernan you are the Capitan Concha and good to see you on stage again, you work so hard and you deserve everything you have!

Les Mills BodyAttack 68 Filming

BA68 is amazing and I'll say that again and again... where does Lisa get all the ideas about music and choreography??? Lisa you are an inspiration for everyone... since you arrived in NZ, everytime I am in your class I can be myself and enjoy every moment with you... isn't it what the fitness class is about?! You are my No. 1 :)

Instructors all over the world, get ready to practice a few moves... such as "evacuate", "killing me", "birthday cake", "freedom arms", and "keep fighting" jabs and uppers! :) such a pity we didn't get to much of these in the filmings, but I am sure your members will love it if you do! The rugby themed agility track is packed with fun and will take your fitness to the next level. Special shoutout to Brent from USA, awesome job, you rocked!

My apologies to the attackers - I couldn't get more pictures because the team had to re-take parts of track 2 at the end of the filming and they got off stage quickly after that....

Les Mills BodyStep 79 Filming

This time the BodyStep filming will be the most memorable one for me because apart from having my 3 favs (Lisa, Sarah and George-na) on stage, my long time friend Oscar was here to present BS! Welcome back to Auckland, Oscar. It's great to see you again!

Les Mills BodyPump 73 Filming

This is an awesome and challenging release by master Glen, probably the most challenging one in recent BP releases! I love this release so much and I can't wait to do it every night... so every night is gonna be a good night? :)

The strong BP team consists of people from four corners of the world - we have Glen fron land of hobbits, Susan from Kemeu, Sara from Spain, Cesar from Argentina and Yannick from France. Sara, Cesar and Yannick all did an awesome job in teaching in English, hope to see them again in Auckland one day.

Les Mills strictly prohibits cameras during the filmings so the pictures were all taken when the filming has finished.

I really love seeing Kylie Gates around, there's something special about her! Everyone can be smiley and friendly but Kylie is such a genuine and organic person... you can tell that she smiles from her heart. One of the nicest people you could ever meet...!

Les Mills BodyCombat 42 Filming

BC42 is heavily influenced by Muay Thai, as well as other martial art styles. I especially enjoyed T6, T7 and T8. Watch out for the direction changes in T6...! For me the highlight of the release is seeing my friend Angel Santiago being on stage. I've been looking forward to seeing him in NZ for a long time. Pernilla from Sweden is also very sweet, wish we had more time to catch up...

The other side of the window

This is a photoshot from the hotel room I stayed at in Singapore. I was waiting to step into the world on the other side of the window after the lawsuit was over.

However at this moment, I am still being left here; the darkness erodes and the rotten air penetrates through my skin... But nothing matters anymore. Because I know when I close my eyes, I can see the ideal world that we all imagined it to be. It's a world that values such as trust and justice wouldn't be dispensed. People would advocate the truth and the good, but not lies and the evil. We would always face the truth, and would never turn away from it.

Life is what I lost, and life is what I will never get back. I know it's crazy not to be crazy after going through the 5 years torture, but there's a reason why I am still standing here. I need to make the best use of what's left in me to warn the world, so no more victims will have to go through what happened to me.

As time goes by, I am getting closer to the goal.

Dan and Rach did it again, Les Mills is delivering another awesome BodyCombat release - BC 41 is here! This time we are taking the fight to the backyard - get excited and start thinking of your launch ideas! With the heavy sounds and some all time favorite moves, you'll be unleashing the power, battling the stress and taking your fitness to another level. This is a great start of another 10 years!

With the pictures from the filming, I hope the crew's passion and love for fitness gets through to you - my friends, keep spreading your love and keep making more life changing experiences.

P.S. Given the GFX, the filmings were schedueld in the morning which crashes with my personal schedule... therefore I only made it to the BC filming... it's a pity that I didn't get to participate the filmings for other programs but I love the new BA, BP and BJ release. Thumbs up to Lisa, Glen and Gandalf!

Dear blog readers, this blog entry has been the most difficult one for me to compose.

The legal battle has been a long and lonely journey. I've been warned many times that this is an impossible fight, and that the tale of David and Goliath doesn't exist in the real world. This seems to be proven correct - today the Supreme Court of Singapore found in HSBC Private Bank's favor.

It's disheartening as I had nothing but the truth. However I do not regret fighting for my rights and believing in justice, and I intend to keep on fighting by taking the case to the next step.

Your support has been the source of my strength, I'd be grateful if you could continue to offer your help and support.

P.S. It's a difficult time for me... so please kindly understand if you don't see as many smiles on my face as you used to see...

HSBC Private Bank declines evidence call

All of a sudden, they declined to give evidences

My heart sank
Because one of the things I ever wanted is to hear the truth from them

HSBC Private Bank declines evidence call

HSBC Private Bank yesterday declined to call evidence in a High Court case in which it is being sued by a Taiwan family for forcing them to close a forex trade.
The plantiffs-Huang Po Jen, now a citizen of New Zealand; his mother Chen Ling San; and his grandmother Chen Cheng Su Yun-allege that HSBC had forced them in 2004 to close a forex trade on their US$24million investment account, which caused them to suffer losses and deprived them of potential profits.
They are claiming S$3million from HSBC. The trial began on Monday and HSBC witnesses, including the present chief executive of HSBC Private Bank Jimmy So, were scheduled to appear in court from yesterday to next Thursday.
Other defence witnesses include Alex See, who had been Mr Huang's relationship manager, and Joanne Lee, then a forex trader.
The move means that HSBC will not be calling any evidence at all, and that the judge, Justice Belinda Ang, will have to decide based on the evidence already produced by the plantiffs.
