Endless Journey

Expecting the world to treat you fairly
because you are a good person
is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you
because you are a vegetarian.

-Dennis Wholey

Dear blog readers, this blog entry has been the most difficult one for me to compose.

The legal battle has been a long and lonely journey. I've been warned many times that this is an impossible fight, and that the tale of David and Goliath doesn't exist in the real world. This seems to be proven correct - today the Supreme Court of Singapore found in HSBC Private Bank's favor.

It's disheartening as I had nothing but the truth. However I do not regret fighting for my rights and believing in justice, and I intend to keep on fighting by taking the case to the next step.

Your support has been the source of my strength, I'd be grateful if you could continue to offer your help and support.

P.S. It's a difficult time for me... so please kindly understand if you don't see as many smiles on my face as you used to see...

PJ, how can it be? The bankers didn't even get to be cross examined. This is just unfair.

No words can express how I feel. I have lost many hopes, dreams and kindness. But as long as I can see you smiling I will fight together with you. No regrets.
So Please don't ever give up on yourself.
Life is a long journey and you have many people who love you and staying by your side.

Jason :)

Dear PJ, dear friend, I am so sorry to hear such a devastating outcome. I know thoughts and mental support doesn't help much against injust bureaucracy, although I hope it brings you a small degree of coping strength in such difficult times.

I truthfully miss your company and wish I could be there once more to lend support and friendship.

And some other news that might draw away from hardships; me and Erika are having another child in a couple of months.

I hope everyone learned something from what PJ went through and warn others especially someone close to you. Not to trust what the bank promise you and justice is only for the rich.

PJ, I'm so sorry to hear that they didn't rule in your favour :0( that really sucks.

I agree with Stuart and Steve though, remember what you do have, what they can't take away from you and that you are a bigger and better person than they are :0)

I understand your reasons for continuing with the battle for justice and I applaud you and I'm sure you know everyone will support you, just don't let it consume you my friend.

Take care, love always,

Pam.xx
